Want to model during Miami’s swimwear events? Fashion Week Online® has a list of castings for members, and there’s more information here.

⚠️ Models: We do not recommend paying to walk during swimwear shows. There are plenty of established and legitimate event producers where you can find casting information and either be paid to walk, or (at the very least) walk for free in exchange for videos and photos of the show for your portfolio.

Casting Timeline

• Most castings are announced: 4-6 weeks before events (late April 2025)
• In-person castings typically occur: 2 weeks before events (mid-May 2025)
• Digital/video submissions may open earlier

Warning Signs of Modeling Scams

• Requests for payment to participate in shows
• Casting calls with no named designer or production company
• Excessive fees for “professional photos” required to apply
• Vague promises of “exposure” with no specific shows named
• Casting calls posted only on model recruitment sites, not official producer channels
